GEAS (pronounced "gesh") is one of the current projects here at Izegrim Creations. It's our homegrown RPG system, written by ENNIE nominated and award winning Roderic Waibel. For a bit of background, when WotC had the OGL debacle, then the Pinkerton debacle, it was decided that we would focus on our homebrew RPG system, called "GEAS". The core system will be released as an SRD under the Creative Commons license. No mess, no hassle, and no debacles of trying to revoke it.
We are super excited about GEAS, and playtesting has been very positive. As the playtesting has progressed, it's becoming more and more clear that we shouldn't have waited for industry drama to kickstart this, but should have done it long ago! Feedback from blind playtesting groups has been great! The core mechanic does what is supposed to do, and does it well. Folks loved the flexibility with trade-in mechanics. Below you'll find a guide to help show just what GEAS is all about.

GEAS CRUX is a streamlined system where rules have been simplified to their core. This creates a game that is easy to learn, teach, and play on the fly.
GEAS CRUX is presented with a more carefree and youthful aesthetic. Everything from mechanical design to art is meant to foster whimsical fun!
The GEAS CRUX character sheet, like the rest of the game, is simple and super easy to use.
Because we wanted everything to fit in one book, the monster entries are also simplified and easy to use.
